How to reach Aveiro
Aveiro and surrounding area offer to those visiting the city an extraordinary diversity of both access routes and accommodation possibilities. Aveiro is, for exemple, directly connected to Lisbon or Porto by train which will leave you in the heart of the city within walking distance of many Hotels and transportation possibilities.
By train
The railway station is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) from the city center and from a widespan of Hotels. From the railway station you can also easily move within he city using the local Bus and Taxi services.

By plane
Porto, Airport Francisco Sá Carneiro. Located 70 km to the north of Aveiro. From the airport, take the metro to Campanhã railway station where there are several options of direct trains to Aveiro. The journey between the airport and Campanhã takes about 30 minutes using a Z4 Andante ticket. Depending on the type of train, the journey to Aveiro takes between 40 and 75 min.
Lisbon, Airport Humberto Delgado in Lisbon. Located 250 km south from Aveiro. From the airport take the metro (red line) to Oriente railway station where you can take a direct train to reach Aveiro. The journey from Lisboa to Aveiro takes about 2h (Alfa)- 2h30m (IC).
